A short time ago I revisited my copies of Lost in Transition and Neon Tigers by German photographer Peter Bialobrzeski and realized that I haven’t blogged about his work. Hands down Bialobrzeski produces some of the most beautiful and creative nighttime photography I’ve ever seen.

His work often deals with transformation, in one form or another, and the resulting images operate more like paintings than actual photographs. This is the capture of luminance at its finest, where cities look like they’re on fire and people hover like ghosts.
