The great thing about blogs is the connectivity and interaction that these spaces enable. Often I find that that without reader participation (in the form of comments or emails) blogging can become tedious, specifically when you know that large groups of people are reading. Anyway, I always get excited when there is a submission for a mini-project derived from the readership of a blog, case and point, Air Camera.

This project stemmed from this post on Left - Eyed, Right – Handed where photographer, blogger, teacher, et al, Justin James Reed decided to meet the challenge:
Dagmar professed that, “(a)ir guitar looks much more spectacular than air camera.” I am here to differ, as I think that we can make “Air Camera” rock way harder than air guitar. So, in an effort (and on a whim) to get this going, I am sharing my first attempt at Air Camera here:

Justin James Reed “Air Cameraing”
As the folks over at the MakingRoom Magazine Blog have said, Air Guitar is “critical to our understanding of Contemporary Photography,” and I think it also says a lot about an artist’s relationship with the title of photographer. I plan on submitting something very soon and I encourage you all to get out there and give it a shot. More info on how to submit here.
